Ordered items as per customer service rep. Wrong Item sent.

I called Truckaddons to see if I qualified for any specials on nerf bars. I was having trouble getting the correct info for my 2011 F-150 Supercrew. The "rep" walked me through the order an told me since I was on the site to go ahead and order. I did as per the "rep:. When the items arrived they were not the correct ones. I was informed that I was wrong and that I ordered the black ones not the chrome. I have explained this two times and finally purchased the correct items. I spent 16 minutes and 48 seconds on hold only to be told Mr. Foley was not at his desk and that they would have him call me. Customer service is not the number one priority for this company. I have sent two emails and left three messages to a Randy Foley Returns manager. All I got was an email that I order black and that was shipped. I sent the items back as I had no choice as they would not give me credit on my charge card until I did. It cost me $112.00 to send a $410.00 dollar box of nerf bars. I will be contacting my credit card company and have already sent this to my attorney. As a die hard truck man for 40 years I would not ever buy anything from Truckaddons. Because if you do and it is wrong it will always be your fault.

No response from customer service on incomplete order

Never received complete order. I received an incomplete shipment for my order. I waited for a few days thinking it was coming in two shipments. I never showed up. I called customer service and was placed on hold each of the seven times I called, sometimes over an hour, without ever getting a person to talk to. Called the order desk where I place the order originally, and was sent to customer service again, with no response. I also emailed the company and emailed customer service, with no reply. I have not received any reply from Truckaddons.com either by email nor phone. I have not received any credit from them. I recommend every one that reads this to never buy from them.

I wished I had read these complaints before I ordered!!!!

On 7-10-13 I ordered 2 Rancho Shocks. I got email on 7-10-13 thanking for order. At 8:21 am I got email confirming the order, with a comment" Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification containing your tracking number(s) and shipment details. It may take 3-5 business days before you will receive a tracking email, so please be patient" I waited until 7-19-13 and emailed the Tracking Dept, with no response from them. On 7-23-13 I called and talked with Susan, she said she would call California and confirm that the order had not been shipped and she would cancel the order and she would call me to let me know what she found out. No reply from Susan. on 7-29-13 I called and Bob saw on there system that Susan had found out the shocked were not available and were on National Backorder, so he promised he would walk across the building and get someone to sign off on canceling the order. NOTHING BACK FROM Bob. On 7-31-13 I talked with Rosa in the Tracking Dept., she said she did not see any notes from Bob, but she promised she would call to make sure the order had not been shipped and she would start the refund process and cancel the order. And she promised she would email that day and let me know what was going on... well no response from Rosa. I called back on 7-31-13 left message for Rosa...NO response.On 8-7-13 I called and got James, once I explained the situation with him, he referred me to Phillip Medlock. When I asked Phillip when could I expect this to be cancelled and refunded, he said this was the first he knew of this and he would have to check to see it the parts had been shipped. He promised he would handle it today or by tommorrow, then he said it could take 24 to 48 hours for things like this to be handled. I asked if he was going to call me back, he said I would get an email confirming it. So, 4 weeks later and after talking with 5 different people, I still have not been able to get this order canceled and get the charges refunded back on my Credit Card. I did file a dispute with my Credit Card Company, and they said it could take up to 30 days or longer to get it resolved. A week later and the credit card system is still showing a temporary credit and dispute investigation in process. I ordered a water pump for my tractor from a company in Louisiana on a Thursday. They said it would be delivered the next Tuesday, but it did not make it until Thursday. It took a week only because it did not come out of the Florida warehouse, it had to come from California, to Alabama. Its a good thing not all companies are not as BAD as Truckaddons.

I too should have read the complaints about this company! I experienced the same issues as everyone else. I ordered on 8/19 (charged the same day)and was told by phone that i would have my cover by the 26th. Took 3 days to even get a receipt by email. The 26th passed and I wrote an email through their tracking site. No answer. I wrote again and received a response that the item will ship on or about the 30th. Emailed them again on the 30th and finally got a response that it would be on the truck that afternoon and I would get a tracking # that afternoon as well. Come Tuesday 9/2....no tracking # yet. I then called and they will no let you talk to a live person because all you get is ...."LEAVE A MESSAGE". I then called the sales # and spoke to Jaime. He stated that it was a freight drop item and he will look into it and call me back. That was 9/2 and here it is 9/5 and I am still waiting for my call and my cover and my tracking #. THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY THAT I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH.!!!!! DO NOT DO BUISNESS WITH THEM. CUSTOMER SERVICE DOES NOT MEAN ANYTHING TO THEM. I WILL BE FILING A BBB COMPLAINT

Did not get all the parts for wheel wells. The plastic pins for my new 2013 truck. took 4 small, 2 large for each wheel well. Go one attached to shipment, were not boxed and tied tho wells by a wire tye. I emailed them twice, No reply and no pins. sounds minor, but even when I ordered the guy I talked to sounded like he was bored. Guess not a big enough sale. Tore up pins that came out of truck so wanted new. Will never buy anything from them again. I used the wells but not as professional as I would like.

Ripped off for over $1,000, then ignored - Don't buy from www.truckaddons.com/

I ordered a tonneau cover for my F-150 online and after waiting a month for the delivery I contacted them via their 'Contact Us' website e-mail system and their response was "We don't carry the cover you ordered". I then called them and customer service said "Oh sorry...they should have told you that" using the term 'they' like it was another company. So I am VERY unhappy about the service but oh well...move on and I brought my truck to Ford and had a cover installed. About a month later I arrive home and there are two boxes in driveway. I checked out the shipping papers and it was a tonneau cover from Truckaddons and my credit card was charged $839 dollars. To make a very long story short after dozens of e-mails and phone calls the credit card company said they could not stop payment because I received the goods I ordered. So I had to pay $400 to ship the cover back to Truckaddons to get credit. I shipped the product back and got a signature that they received it. I waited weeks for them to credit me but nothing. Again dozens of phone calls and e-mails to the credit card company and Truckaddons and finally the credit card company did a chargeback for the $839 but I am out $400 for shipping. They flat out lied to me over and over saying your credit will show up in a few days....they never credited my account. They are liars and crooks....don't order from them or you will be sorry.

Incompetance! Charged told item in stock but not

Ordered item on Monday July 15th and told it was in stock and would be shipped and I would have it by the weekend. When Friday rolled around and no tracking number had been received I called as directed and message says you cant call you have to email... Emailed and return message said item was on backorder and "should be shipped" by the 31st. Contacted Salesman (Scott) on Monday the 22nd who checked and said something had happened but he would order one from another source and I should have it by the weekend (sound familiar?)... Now it is Tuesday the 30th and after two calls yesterday with no return and being told today they didn't even know if the item was in stock, and how could they know if it would ship by the 31st as tomorrow is the 31st??? I have lost hope and demanded to be transferred to a supervisor and you guessed it, got a voicemail and left a message which I don't expect to get a return call from. DON'T CHANCE buying from these people, if they had just told me they didn't have it in stock or even waited to bill till the item shipped perhaps I may see this in a different light. I am willing to bet that if I get my money back it will take longer than they have had it to see it back but they got it IMMEDIATELY when the order was placed.

THEY SUCK!!

Ordered an item July 1.....told I would have my item in two weeks. No show! And also no mention that they charge the day the order is placed not when it is shipped. (That is soooo wrong) today is August 24 still no item! Longest two weeks of my life! Two phone calls everyone was VERY sorry I wasn't happy....but everyone fails to take the blame or do anything about it! They are liars! They make up answers just to get you off the phone! I will be contacting the manufacturer of this product to let them know the kind of dumb *** they have selling their products. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!

Truck Add Ons: Terrible Service!

They do not answer my emails, they do not talk to me by phone, they do not ship items I ordered, thet are by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. I used Paypal to pay them so I will get my money back but they aren't worth all the trouble for the couple of extra bucks you save. The one email I did receive said my item would be shipping on Friday but it never shipped and they never followed up. When I call, I am always on hold and told to leave a number but it is never returned

Poor CS - the Customer is always wrong

"My son ordered fender flares for his 93 Chevy K1500, when they arrived, they did not fit. We contacted CS to see if there was a mistake, they said there wasn't, we asked questions and got no real answers and when we returned the items, they stated they were not only going to make us PAY to return the items, but they were going to charge us for the FREE SHIPPING THEY OFFERED IN THE BEGINNING!! REALLY?!?! not to mention they could take up to 20% off the refunded amount to cover "restocking" really people? I requested a manager contact me at least twice and NEVER received a call from them. I will certainly think twice before I deal with this company again. What a rip off, I paid 95 dollars to ship the boxes back and they were going to deduct and additional 95 to cover their "free shipping!?" that is just *** where I come from and I will make sure everyone knows it in the car customizing community here in Southern NV!"

Where do I begin.... Pricing for the product was misrepresented. Purchase price was competitive and the product was purchased through internet shopping cart. A few days later, it was indicated the product was incorrect for my application and the correct product was a substantial increase from the price advertised on shopping cart. I went through with purchase anyway. Charges, refunds, and subsequent charges to my credit card made for confusion as to the status of my order. Shipment came in as partial and I was not informed of incomplete shipment. I had to inquire as to when my order would be completed. Emails were ignored and finally I had to call to find out the status of my order. Representative could not tell me when my order would be completed. Order arrived in 3 separate shipments. Each package was damaged due to inadequate packaging...without a doubt. Products had no structural damage, but cosmetic blemishes were abundant. The heavy product (truck shocks) penetrated through the box and paint was chipped off. The shocks were just thrown in a box with no stabilizing padding to prevent mobility of product in box. Holes in packing resulted in the loss of installation hardware. TruckAddOns blames Rancho for inadequate packaging and blames Fed Ex for improper handling. TruckAddOns will not accept any responsibility for damaged product. I had intended to purchase additional products from TruckAddOns, but employee BOB could not reassure me that additional purchases would be handled with better care. I was willing to live with cosmetic damage to the shocks exterior, but BOB disputed every issue I brought forward, was overly defensive, and combative towards my complaints; unwilling to accept any responsibility as the distributor of the product. In which case I decided I would not accept the damaged goods and would take my business elsewhere. Now I am forced to file a claim with Fed Ex. Having owned a retail business before, I know that Fed Ex will not accept responsibility for damaged product considering the way it was packaged. I do not blame Fed Ex. A child could identify the reason for the damaged product. It was not due to improper handling, but rather it was due to insufficient packaging. In discussing this with BOB of TruckAddOns, he admitted the packaging was poor; however, he said this was not his problem and to take my complaint to the manufacturer (who drop shipped the package). I did not purchase the product from Rancho, but rather TruckAddOns. Why should I have to escalate my complaint to Rancho? Bob portrays TruckAddOns business motto as "fast and cheapest". First of all, it took over two weeks to receive the complete order and secondly the price was too good to be true as it was misrepresented and later increased. If their motto of "fast and cheapest" was true....it still is not worth the inconvenience of damaged product and utterly inept and incompetent customer service. Do not waste your time and money on TruckAddOns. I learned the hard way that it is better to pay a few bucks more and support your local economy. Plus if you have a problem you can deal with the distributor face to face. Instead of having a guy like BOB flex his internet muscles and dismissing all of your concerns.

Did you originally order shocks...but you actually needed struts instead? If you had a vehicle that had to have struts...they are more costly...not a pricing mistake. If you call Truckaddons back and ask for Bobby, he will be able to give you a rebate on cosmetic damage!

Do you understand that the manufacturer's are the only ones you can blame for the way they package product or the freight companies if they damage the product? It looks like you are the one trying to whine about something hiding behind the internet instead of Bob.

First dealing with shipping clerk Randy Foley is like dealing with a 5th grader. Ordered a tonneau and was told it would be on my doorstep in 5 days. They do not provide tracking numbers. After 6 days I requested them only to be told it would ship for another week. I went online chat session again stating an interest in buying to see how quickly I could get one. Still promised it would arrive in 5 days. Went back and asked if they were sure it hasn't shipped and that I would have to cancel order if not. Told again it would ship for another week. I cancelled the order and ordered from another vendor who came through. Truckaddon ships order anyway after I cancelled it without ever notifying me. It arrives a week later after I cancelled it (twice BTW). They want to bill me for 2 way shipping. I contacted them several times to check order status and tell them I would cancel if not received by a certain date. They never once contacted me to tell me that it would ship earlier than what they told me twice. And big boy Randy acts as if that's my fault. Their screw up and yet they don't accept responsibility. This is an awful company to deal with. Holding times on the phone for me were 30 minutes on time and 50 minutes another. PITIFUL!

I believe that because Truckaddons has numerous consumer complaints and that Randy Foley is mentioned more than once speaks loudly for itself. And I stand by my assessment that Randy acted childishly. Get over it.

First of all....the website says "most" orders ship in 4 to 5 days. Unless you paid for "expedited" shipping, NO WEBSITE on the internet GUARANTEES delivery on a certain date!

Did you pay for expedited shipping? Secondly, no merchant can legally charge you until your item ships, unless you paid on Pay Pal.So there is no reason that they HELD your order, they want to get paid as quickly as you want your product. Did you go to their web site and cancel the order online like you have to do?

Do you have an order cancellation number that you would have been given if you cancelled?

By calling them names....it shows who really is behaving like a 5th grader....YOU!

Bills you for shipping but don't ship

I placed an order on the 10th May 2013 Friday, emailed them the following Thursday 16th AFTER they charged my CC for shipping insurance that I opted for, sent them another email inquiring about my order and they refuse to reply. I have filed a dispute with my CC company and am now waiting to see what's what. How can any company remain viable when their communication skills are dismal? They can't even click reply to an email trying to find out the status of an order? Absurdly ridiculous is putting it mildly. Will NEVER do business with this company ever again.

They dont refuse to give you one....they cant give you one until it ships! Of course the insurance is charged first....you have to have it paid for before the item ships.

They do not charge your card until item ships. They CANNOT give you a tracking number UNTIL the item ships! All internet site are like this, you can ask a 100 times from most sites, BUT THEY CANT GIVE YOU A TRACKING NUMBER UNTIL AN ITEM SHIPS.

That is why it is called tracking! USE SOME COMMON SENSE!

Absolutely one brutal company!

After all the negative comments and reviews about Truck Add-ons I cannot believe it’s still in existence! I am however a little disappointed at myself for not researching this company before placing my order. I placed my original order at Truck Add-ons on Nov 5th 2012 with Britt on the phone. I clearly stated several times that the product I wished to purchase (Ride Rite air helper springs) were for my 05 F150. I received an automated e-mail with my purchase details and the product description said it was for an 2010/2011 F150. I immediately e-mailed back to confirm if the product I will receive will fit my 2005. I received no response in two days so I proceeded to call. I got a hold of Rosa and she said she would check into it and let me know the next day. I did not hear back from her and I could not get a hold of anyone there after (left two messages). I assumed it hadn’t shipped out yet as I received no tracking information (silly me). I received my order on Nov 9th and discovered the product was not as I ordered (as described in the auto e-mail it was for a 2010/2011 F150). I started calling again to see if the product will fit my 2005 F150. I got a hold of Rosa and she confirmed that in fact the product would not fit my 2005 and she advised me to fill out the on-line return form. At this time my credit card had been charged for the product. I received a return number from Randy Foley the next day. I applied the required identification to the package and as directed by Randy dropped it off at the return location on Nov 12th to be picked up by Fedex within 3 business days. At this time he or someone there was supposed to dispatch Fedex to pick it up. This is where it becomes very interesting. Early the following week I called to find out if my return had made it there yet and spoke with Rosa. She said she’d check into it and return my call or e-mail me. I heard nothing back so several days later I proceeded to call again. Still nothing. I called the depot where I left the package to be sent back and they said it hadn’t been picked up yet (it is now Nov 23rd). I called and spoke with Rosa again and she passed me on to Mellissa. At this time Mellissa initiated the Fedex pick-up and the package sent out Nov 29th. As per the Fedex tracking the package arrived at Truck Add-ons on Dec 3rd. I called Truck Add-ons Dec 4th and left a message with Mellissa to confirm that they received it. Nothing. Called Randy and no answer. I finally contacted Randy on Dec 6th at which time he confirmed they received my return and placed my order for the correct product (received invoice via e-mail). Yet another problem. Randy placed my order however did not use the correct shipping address. I immediately sent them an e-mail stating to change the address. No response so I started calling. I was on hold the first time I called and was hung-up on. Tried again later in the day and got voice mails. I left a message with Randy and did not hear back from him. I got a hold of dear old Mellissa on Dec 11th where she confirmed that the order was in fact placed with my correct shipping address and that the invoice was just incorrect. As of Dec 14th I had yet to receive a tracking number so I called Mellissa and find that my product should be in that day. I finally received my order and it was correct this time. It took over a month to receive my correct product. Truck Add-ons has horrible communication, poor service and no clue how to conduct business. I will never buy from there again.

They billed me for a cancelled order they messed up

In October 2012 I ordered rims and tires. They invoiced me with the wrong bolt pattern. I called them about the error, and they corrected it. I ordered the correct rims and tires, and I paid for them. 5 months later they billed me for the cancelled order for the wrong rims. They billed my credit card and they will not credit my account nor will they return my calls. I never received any part of the cancelled order and I did not authorize the credit card transaction. They called the rim company and the rim company did not receive a PO for the cancelled order. Still they are reluctant on crediting my card back the funds they are trying to steal. In my opinion, this is the worse company I have ever dealt with. I have submitted a complaint with Kentucky's Better Business Bureau. P.S. My order was for rims, tires, nurf bars, and shocks. Every peace of my order was screwed up. They ordered the wrong bolt on the rims, the nurf bars were the wrong color, the shock came 1 or 2 per week until they all came. Eventually I received every after 6 or 7 weeks. Also the billing was messed up. Every time I called them I got attitude for customer service, they transfer me and they would drop the call, and never received a call back.

Are you sure you didnt give the wrong application? Its hard to believe they got EVERYTHING wrong if you gave them the correct truck!

Do you have an order cancellation number? If you cancelled it they would have give you one?

They cant Steal from you like you said. If they are wrong they will correct it...if you made the mistake you will have to take credit for it too.
